Local Love | Olives + Grace

Starting this week I wanted to introduce a new series on my blog called Local Love. I will feature local artists, shopkeepers, bloggers, bakers and makers around town. Whenever I discover a new gem in my neighborhood, my inner Diana Sawyer comes out and I want to know everything. What's behind the idea? What led you here? Tell me more. Tell me everything! And then my inner photographer gets all giddy and wants to share…so... here we are!

First up is Olives and Grace, a shop in Boston's South End that sells locally made products. Way back in July when the weather was toasty, I had a chance to hang out with the charming Sofi and go camera crazy in her shop. In addition to offering unique gifts, Olives and Grace is,  “fighting the good fight by helping to preserve the simple pleasure of walking into a shop and discovering products that have been drafted and perfected by skilled craftsmen." That's definitely something that I can get behind. Check out the store the next time you are in the South End for a treasure (or two) and you'll also have peace of mind that your hard-earned dollars are going to a good place.
