BRIDEMAIDS INSPIRATION

Taking inspiration from Frida Kahlo and her use of vibrant color and flowers, I put together this shoot on the wedding bridesmaid. While the bride receives most of the sartorial attention on a wedding day, I wanted to focus on the ladies that surround her. With dresses from Flair Bridesmaid, located at 140 Newbury St, Boston, owner Stacey let me borrow to my hearts content. I loved the gray tones that she has in the shop this season. Continuing with the flower obsession, the ever-talented Moira from Whim Events magically put these together the zany and fun flower headpieces for the shoot. I also had the opportunity to work with Zaure Vuk from Anchor Artists. What a talent at both hair and makeup! I totally recommend her for ladies looking to get the professional touch on their wedding day. Our location was a beautiful garden just down the street from my old apartment in Davis Square (thanks Katherine!) and we had a great afternoon playing around. Huge thanks to Autumn, Maryrose and Meaghan from Maggie Inc for their time as well.
